Note: I know it is under debate whether to allow Dark Elves, but I was under the impression that the debate was more over whether an Elf would choose to be evil, which is not the case here, so I thought I would try it. This original idea came from a Fan fiction I read. I have twisted the concept for this character.

Name: Myrddin
Age: 4350
Sex: female
Race: Dark Elf, formally of Eregion(Hollin)
Job: Elven Assassin,
Plot: Myrddin has long been on the side of the Darkness. She managed to remain free after the destruction of Sauron and has returned to Queen Racine. Her goal is the destruction of her race, the Elves. Men of are no interest to her. If they get in her way, fine, but she will not go out of her way to kill them.
Personality: Myrddin has a bit of a split personality. She was born a normal Elf, a Noldor of Eregion. She was a happy, carefree girl, who loved the light and outdoor, just like any Elf. However due to her history, she has been corrupted. She is a Master assassin, loving the shadows and death. She can be trusted, but only by those she respects or fears. Once she has sworn loyalty to you, she will hold to the vow…as long as you have the upper hand.
She seethes with a hatred of her own people, indeed any Elf. She is cool and calculating most of the time, though she has been known to fly into fits of bloodlust and rage if provoked. There are moments when remnants of her childhood personality will come up and she longs for the woods or the open plains or Elvish music, but as long as she remains in the camps of the Darkness, she drowns in it and those desires come less and less.
History: As stated above, Myrddin was a normal Elven child, born to Alassë and Lenwë of Eregion. She was born in the Second Age, not too far removed from the making of the rings of power, though she was not at all aware what was going on. She was too busy exploring the lands around the city, learning to play music and being spoiled by her Adar(daddy). That all changed when she was 16 years old. She had ridden out far from the city in search of some pretty flowers for her parents anniversary. It was there, in the wilds, that she was attacked and captured by Orcs.
They bound her hands and began a five day journey back to their camp, forcing her to run the whole way, and using whips for motivation. She could barely breathe or walk by the time they made it back and her legs were stained with blood from the cuts the whip had opened. When they took her into their bases, that was the last time Myrddin ever saw the sunlight until she was fully corrupted and the last time she could be truly called an Elf.
She was chained to a cold stone wall in a cell and left alone for a bit. She didn’t know how much time had passed and was shivering in the cold when the door opened and the mastermind behind her capture stepped into the cell. Orcs would have just played with her and killed her, not keep her alive for five days. In stepped a Mortal, A Man. He had a terrible smile on his face, one that promised darkness. It was he who would twist her to a dark creature.
Myrddin went through unimaginable torture for the next ... she doesn’t know how long. Time was twisted in that cell like everything else. When she was allowed to eat, it was not normal Elvish food or anything from the world of light. She was given the food of the Orcs and a nasty drink. When she refused to eat, they would force the foul stuff into her and not allow her to throw it back up. The pain was immense from the food and drink, not to mention they continued to whip and beat her. The Man kept telling her hateful lies that in her weakened state, she began to believe, how her parents had not even bothered to come look for her, that none of her precious elves had. Slowly, and with a seemingly infinite patience, the Man slowly warped her mind. Soon she found that even when they left a torch in her cell she would dash it out, because it is safer to hide in the darkness.
It was years before she set foot outside of that place. After about a year, she was allowed out of her cell, but her new master was taking no chances on her reverting and fleeing if he let her out of his sight. Her face took on the color of paleness that comes from being out of the sun for too long. When she did finally go outside, she found it unbearable to see the sun. Over time she was able to handle being in the sun, though it isn’t her favorite time of day.
He trained her to be an assassin, skilled in many darker arts of warfare as well as the traditional bow and sword. The ‘Master’ is long dead as all Mortals are and after all this time she still serves the darkness, with his hateful words ringing in her ears. There are times when she can’t hear him so clearly, so loudly, but as long as she remains in the service of the darkness, as long as she is not reminded of the goodness of the Elves, then she can ignore the quiet longings for the clean woods and the sunlight.

Alassë and Lenwë of Eregion- mother and father

Role Playing Sample: (This MUST be in Third Person.)
Myrddin put a hand on the tree trunk for balance as she watched the scene below her. The moon was out tonight and a group of Elves were making there way from one outpost to another. They obviously thought they were safer traveling at night…how wrong they were. She slid a small throwing knife from one of the many hidden pockets that she had in her clothes. There would be a perfect moment to strike, and like always she would be ready.
She shifted as a new sound reached her ears. One of the Elves was singing softly to himself. She found herself straining to hear better. She knew that song…her father used to sing it. Myrddin shook her head violently to clear it. Yes, her father, the one who had betrayed her, who had abandoned her to the darkness. She gripped her knife a little tighter and leapt from the tree branch silently to her prey below.
